Wireless carrier Sprint is getting ready for the launch of a Windows Phone 8-based smartphone from HTC in the not too distant future, and the device has already made an appearance over at the FCC, featuring model number P088100.

The handset, previously rumored to sport the name of HTC Tiara, will arrive with support for Sprint’s CDMA and LTE networks, and should sport Windows Phone 8 GDR2 on top right from the start.

The new mobile phone is expected to feature a 4.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 480 x 800 pixel (WVGA) resolution, along with 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor inside, and 1GB of RAM, UnwiredView notes.

Furthermore, the HTC Tiara should include 8GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, and a 1.6MP front camera for making video calls. The phone is also said to pack an 1800mAh battery.
