The new HTC TITAN smartphone from HTC has a lot of new capabilities and features to offer, some of which were included into the mix by HTC themselves, others powered by the Windows Phone Mango operating system, but all equally appealing.

The handset was unveiled last night, and people that participated at a series of social events that HTC held in cities like London, Madrid, and Berlin already had the chance to have a look at it.

Those who were not there, and who include the vast majority of those who are interested in the new device will be able to learn some more info on the new device by having a look at the videos embedded below.

The HTC TITAN comes with impressive specifications, at least when compared to other handsets running under Mango.

The largest Windows Phone before was the HTC HD7, a 4.3-inch smartphone, but the title goes to TITAN now, a high-end device packing a 4.7-inch screen and powered by a 1.5GHz application processor. It also sports an 8MP camera on the back, with HD video recording.

In addition to being capable of delivering great performance capabilities courtesy of these hardware specs, the new device also offers other great features.

For example, users can enjoy great multitasking capabilities with it, the ability to easily switch between work and leisure, a linked inbox for a much better email experience and increased efficiency, and more.

Xbox LIVE was built in right on the phone, HTC Watch offers Hollywood blockbusters on the go, while the 8MP camera with F2.2. lens and BSI sensor can shoot great photos under any conditions.

Moreover, the device comes with a series of new features from HTC, all put together in the Settings section under the Attentive Phone features. These features were integrated in the OS, WMPoweruser notes (they were available via a separate app before).

“With the largest screen of any Windows Phone, the HTC TITAN lets you work big and play big. Sporting a 4.7” screen and an ultra-slim 9.9mm unibody contoured design, the HTC TITAN is unlike anything you’ve ever held,” HTC notes on its website.

“It’s the perfect phone for multitasking, enhancing your work efficiency, editing Office documents with the big virtual keyboard and making your entertainment and photos really come to life.”
