On September 1st, mobile phone maker HTC Corporation announced the availability of two new Windows Phone-based devices, namely the HTC TITAN and HTC Radar, and both of them are currently available for pre-order in the UK, with an expected release date set for October 15th, it seems.

When announcing them, HTC did say that they are to arrive on shelves sometime in October, but the company did not offer a specific release date for either of them, nor did it announce the price tag these handsets might feature when available.

However, now both HTC TITAN and Radar are available for pre-order via Amazon UK with the said expected release date attached to them, and with price tags of £489.99 and £329.99 attached to them, respectively.

The TITAN was unveiled with a large 4.7-inch touchscreen display on board, and with a fast 1.5GHz application processor packed inside, while the Radar features a 3.8-inch screen and a 1GHz application processor, thus the big cost difference between the two.

“Sporting a 4.7” screen and an ultra-slim 9.9mm unibody contoured design, the HTC TITAN lets you work big and play big,” Amazon notes.

“The HTC Radar is the intuitive phone that keeps it all on your radar and lets you get real-time close…with everything. Crafted from a single piece of metal, it offers a premium design,” the retailer explains.

Both handsets arrive on shelves with Windows Phone Mango on board, as well as with front-facing cameras, and with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, built-in GPS receiver, and the usual set of sensors.

The HTC TITAN was also packed with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording, while the Radar comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the back, also with the ability to record videos in 720p HD.

Moreover, they come with HTC's Watch application, which offers access to movies and videos while on the go, as well as with support for Xbox LIVE games, and with access to the Windows Phone Marketplace to download and install applications.

“Enjoy entertainment that really comes to life on the big screen whenever, wherever. With HTC Watch you can enjoy Hollywood blockbusters at your fingertips,” Amazon UK notes.
