According to HP, its first Android tablet, the Slate 7, will be launched in the United States this month. However, it appears that Europeans will have to wait a few more months for the HP Slate 7.

UnwiredView reports that the tablet is now available for pre-order in France for only €150/$195. French retailer RueDuCommerce claims that it will start shipping the HP Slate 7 beginning June 1.

However, we expect the tablet to be released in the UK slightly earlier, though we’re still waiting for official confirmation.

HP Slate 7 will ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and will pack a dual-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz.

Furthermore, the tablet has been confirmed to pack a 7-inch display that supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
