Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has decided to make available in the Google Play Store more of the applications it has released only for its Sense-running smartphones, the latest of which would be the HTC Sense Input keyboard app.

The software is now available for download for all HTC One M7 and HTC One M8 devices that are not Google Play Edition smartphones, as well as for its latest Desire phones.

What this means is that HTC will be able to update the mobile app independently of the firmware / OS loaded on these handsets, thus providing users with a much better experience than before.

“HTC Sense Input speeds up your typing and reduces accidental errors. It learns from your input and selections and offers you more precise word candidates. HTC Sense Input also supports the trace feature so you can type more efficiently with one hand,” the application’s description reads.

The latest flavor of the app comes with some new features and enhancements as well, including Google Extract View in landscape mode, .ru/.ro/.nl on Russian/Romanian/Dutch URL keyboard, Handwriting manual submit mode, and more.

Those of you who own one of the aforementioned supported smartphones should head over to the Google Play store to download the HTC Sense Input app.
