The HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio is now available for purchase in the UK, after being unveiled to the world only a few weeks ago.

The same as the original Sensation, the new mobile phone is powered by Google's Android operating system, but features enhanced music and audio capabilities.

The new device has just gone up for sale in the UK, with a price tag of £492 (around $756 / 574 Euros) if purchased via Clove, SIM free and unlocked.

As stated above, the new device comes with improved audio capabilities, but also features a series of upgraded hardware specs.

Thus, it packs a 1.5GHz dual-core application processor inside, along with a 4.3-inch qHD Super LCD capacitive touch screen display, and 4GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot for expanding it.

The new mobile phone also comes with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with dual LED flash, auto focus and HD video recording capabilities, complemented by a VGA front camera for video calling.

“The HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio is the new and improved version of the HTC Sensation. The Sensation XE is the first handset to be released since HTC's announcement last month that it had bought a majority share in the Dr. Dre owned company,” Clove UK notes.

The HTC Sensation XE picks up where its predecessor left off, but offers some impressive enhancements. The dual-core processor has been improved to 1.5GHz, the battery life has been increased and needless to say, there is Beats Audio hardware and in-ear headphones included with the device.”

The new mobile phone also arrives on shelves with 768MB of RAM, and with a 1730 mAh battery, as well as with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver, and the like.

“However, it's not just the internals that have had a redesign - the new Sensation XE features a black and red colour scheme to keep its appearance synonymous with the Beats Audio brand,” Clove explains.
