A few days ago, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation announced the upcoming availability of the new mobile phone powered by Google's Android operating system, the HTC Sensation, and the first leaked ROM for this device has just made an appearance at large. The new mobile phone comes to the market with Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system on board, and with HTC's Sense 3.0 user interface loaded on top of it.

The multimedia superphone should become available for purchase sometime in May in various markets around the world.

Before that would happen, those interested in learning some more info on the matter would be able to have a look at the said HTC Sensation test ROM, which reportedly includes all of the goodies the mobile phone would arrive on shelves with.

The HTC Sense 3.0 UI seems to be one of the most appealing features the new device lands on shelves with, since it comes with a wide range of graphical changes over the previous versions, as well as with new applications included into the mix.

Moreover, the UI goes along pretty nicely with the mobile phone's qHD touchscreen display, as well as with its faster application processor. Those who would like to learn a few more details on the leaked ROM should head to 911sniper here for that.

In the meantime, we should note that the HTC Sensation shapes itself as the next flagship Android smartphone from HTC, packing a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, complemented by a 1.2GHz application processor, 768MB of RAM and 1 GB of internal memory.

Moreover, the new device sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with HD video recording capabilities, as well as with a front-facing camera for video calling.

It would enable storage expansion through microSD memory card slot, and support for 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth connectivity options, in addition to MHL port (for USB or HDMI connection), 3.5mm headphone jack, USB and Wi-Fi tethering, and DLNA.
