A new Windows Phone 7 teaser has just leaked on the Italian website 247windowsphone. The exclusive video is showing an aluminum smartphone bearing Microsoft's Windows trademark on the middle touch button. The title of the clip suggests that the device is called HTC Schubert and that will be part of the first wave of Windows 7 phones to be launched this year.

Not long ago another Windows 7 phone, namely HTC Mozart, has leaked on the Internet, which suggests that the Taiwanese manufacturer is preparing a new series of devices named after famous composers (i.e. Schubert, Mozart). This isn't a surprise as HTC is well-known for changing few parts from its various models, basically offering different versions of the same device.

The supposedly HTC Schubert features a standard bar form factor, with rounded shapes and a large display. The partial aluminum coating is completed by a plastic material, which might be the same rubberized plastic that is usually used by the Taiwanese manufacturer. While there's no information whatsoever about the actual technical features of the smartphone, we can guess that it will be powered by a 1 GHz processor and, of course, it will run the Windows 7 operating system.

From what we can notice in the movie, there's also a 3.5mm jack port, microSD card slot for memory expansion, a camera with LED flash on the back and a dedicated shutter button. As you can see the information is pretty scarce for the moment, but more tidbits about the device will probably follow soon.

The 1 and a half minute video is also showing a glimpse of the embedded operating system and from what we saw it includes applications such as: Internet Explorer, Gesture Bester, Marketplace, Xbox Live, Facebook and Zune. All these are subject to changes of course. Watch the video below courtesy to 247windowsphone.
