14 DAY TRIAL // Owners of an HTC One smartphone in Russia will receive the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software update on their devices by mid-June, HTC Russia head Kormiltsev Andrey has announced in a recent tweet.
The info comes shortly after reports that the update is already live in some markets, with all the benefits that the Android 4.2.2 brings along over the Android 4.1.2 platform release currently available on the smartphone.
The new software release will be delivered to smartphones over the air, and will feature the HTC Sense 5.0 UI on top, and not the Sense 5.1 flavor of the interface, as some might have expected.
Furthermore, as AndroidOS notes, Kormiltsev Andrey also unveiled that HTC is still working on the update for HTC One X and One X+, and that these devices will receive it, along with Sense 5.0, at a later, yet unspecified date.
