HTC already has on shelves a series of mobile phones that pack dual-core application processors, yet it seems that it plans the release of even more of them, and that the HTC Ruby might be on the list.

The handset has been spotted into the wild before, but it is only now that the first press photos with it emerge, complemented by a series of rumors regarding a more specific release date for it.

The new device is set to arrive on shelves with a 1.5GHz dual-core application processor inside, and might land in the United States at T-Mobile under the name of HTC Amaze 4G.

Magenta is expected to plan on putting the new smartphone up for sale starting with October 26th, or sometime towards the end of the next month.

At the same time, it is also said to be on its way to the Canadian market on the airwaves of TELUS, which reportedly plans on launching it in a matter of weeks.

Moreover, the new device is expected to hit the shelves in other markets around the world as well, though it might sport a different name when that happens.

The mobile phone should arrive on shelves with Google's Android operating system on board, and with a series of high-end specifications packed inside.

For example, rumor has it that HTC Ruby will sport a 4.3-inch touchscreen display when launched, the same as the HTC Sensation or the HTC EVO 3D did.

It might pair the said fast application processor with 1GB of RAM, as well as with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which will enable users shoot videos in full HD resolution.

Other specifications of this device would include support for NFC, along with WiFi and Bluetooth, or HSPA+ connectivity. The HTC Ruby should arrive on shelves in two color flavors, namely black and white.

As stated above, nothing has been confirmed on this mobile phone until now, but keep an eye on this space for additional info on the matter.
