One of the mobile phones that should arrive on the market in South Korea in the near future with Google's Android operating system on board is the previously leaked HTC Rider, which is supposedly set to land on shelves in the country under the name of HTC EVO 4G+. The mobile phone should sport features similar with those included in the recently released HTC Sensation, as well as in the HTC EVO 3D at Sprint (no 3D support will be included into the mix).

Some of the leaked specs of this device include a 1.2GHz dual core application processor, complemented by 1GB of RAM, and, most probably, the same amount of ROM.

The same as the two aforementioned handsets, the HTC EVO 4G+ is expected to arrive on shelves with a large 4.3-inch touchscreen display, which would be capable of delivering a qHD (960 x 540 pixels) resolution.

Moreover, it will arrive on the market with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, complemented by a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera.

Thus, it should enable both the recording of videos (in full 1080p HD, it seems), and the placing of video calls.

The new HTC EVO 4G+ is expected to pack support for WiBro (Korea version of WiMax), as well as for 14.4Mbps HSPA+ on the 900MHz and 2100MHz bands.

Other capabilities of this Android device would include DLNA capabilities, along with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity.

The mobile phone is supposedly running under Google's latest operating system version, namely Android 2.3 Gingerbread, although nothing was confirmed specifically on the matter for the time being.

The HTC EVO 4G+ is not official at the moment, but it might become so in the very near future, it seems.

Details on the carrier that should make the new handset available on its airwaves were not unveiled either, but you can have a look at it in the video embedded below (via). Stay tuned to learn additional info on the matter.
