One of the Android-based handsets that should arrive on shelves at Verizon in the near future with support for the wireless carrier's LTE network is the HTC Rezound, previously spotted into the wild as the Vigor, and which can be seen in the unboxing video above.

The mobile phone is expected to become official on November 3rd during a press event held in New York, and should prove one of the most appealing devices in Verizon's lineup.

Rezound is said to sport a 1.5 GHz dual-core application processor, along with 1GB of RAM, a large touchscreen display on the front, along with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with HD video recording and complemented by a front camera for video calling.

Rumor has it that the new device will run under Android 2.3.4 and that it will also have the new Sense UI 3.5 loaded on it.
