Owners of the international flavor of the HTC One smartphone can now download and install a new operating system flavor on their devices, as HTC has started to push out the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for them.

The new software release lands on handsets with some appealing new features packed inside, such as a percentage battery level indicator and extended quick settings, along with enhancements to Blinkfeed.

Additionally, the update provides users with the long-press-for-menu option on the home button, Daydream, and a series of changes in the app drawer, enabling them to remove icons from the dock. The Sense 5.0 UI is still present on the device.

According to Android Revolution, the update is available only for the unlocked flavor of the international HTC One for the time being, though carrier-branded units should receive it too in the near future.
