T-Mobile Europe announced the upcoming release of three new mobile devices, all of them being T-Mo editions of HTC handsets. The new devices are: MDA Compact IV, MDA Vario IV and Ameo 16GB.

T-Mobile MDA Compact IV is actually the HTC Touch Diamond Pocket PC, which was officially presented less than a month ago. Measuring only 102 x 51 x 11,5 millimeters and weighing 110 grams, the handset comes with Windows Mobile 6.1, a 2.8 TFT touchscreen display with a VGA resolution (480 x 640 pixels), a revolutionary TouchFlo 3D user interface, internal GPS, dual-band HSDPA connectivity for high data transfer speeds, Wi-Fi, full HTML browser (Opera, from what it seems), a 3.2 Megapixel camera with auto focus, Media player, 4GB of built-in memory and so on.

The MDA Vario IV is the HTC Raphael, "blessed" with T-Mobile's logo and the MDA naming. Built on the same hardware platform as the Diamond, Raphael / Vario IV brings about the same design and features, the main difference being a full QWERTY keyboard that slides horizontally.

Both MDA handsets should be available across Europe (where T-Mobile is present) starting June or July the latest, for prices that have not been announced yet.

Another new T-Mo branded HTC set for a summer release, according to GSM Helpdesk Netherlands, is Ameo 16GB, a version of the HTC X7510 Advantage. This is a quite big Pocket PC that offers a wide VGA display, a full QWERTY keypad, GPS, Wi-Fi and, of course, 16GB of internal memory.

While the above mentioned new devices were only announced for Europe, the subscribers of T-Mobile US will almost surely get the Raphael too, not as MDA Compact IV, but under the name of T-Mobile Shadow 2. The Touch Diamond could also be hitting the US pretty soon, but we don't know yet via which carrier and under what name.
