The smartphone should be launched next week at CES

Mr. Paul Thurrot, the person responsible for the latest leaks that turned to rumors and are about to become reality, has recently revealed that AT&T’s roadmap for 2012 includes no less than three Windows Phone smartphones, the Nokia Lumia 900, HTC Radiant and Samsung Mendel.

While we’ve already gotten plenty of information regarding the upcoming Nokia Lumia 900, also known as Nokia Ace, there is little to almost no details on the other two Windows Phone devices that are said to be released by AT&T this year.

Fortunately, the folks over at Pocketnow managed to get their hands on a picture that apparently shows off the unannounced HTC Radiant smartphone.

Discovered for the first time last year in April when its codename was spotted in a list of device names that were trademarked by HTC at that time, the HTC Radiant is said to feature LTE support and is bound to AT&T.

According to the latest hearsay, HTC Radiant LTE is expected to be officially announced at this year’s CES trade fair, but details on its exact release date are still a blur.

Nokia is said to be preparing to pour no less than $100M onto a media campaign for its Nokia Lumia 900 alone, which might or might not be successful.

On the other hand, the Taiwanese handset manufacturer has excellent partnerships with all US-based carriers and already grabbed a fair share of the smartphone market.

HTC Radiant LTE will probably have similar hardware as the Lumia 900, but it will come with a slightly larger display (not necessarily better).

Even though there are no details on the phone’s specs sheet, we can assume that the HTC Radiant LTE will be delivered with a 4.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a single core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and 512MB of RAM.

More details on the HTC Radiant LTE will probably be revealed as soon as CES 2012 trade fair kicks off on January 10.
