About a month ago, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation unveiled to the world their first handsets running under Microsoft's new Windows Phone Mango operating system, and those devices hitting the shelves in the UK as we speak.

Online retailer phones4u has both of them listed on its website, after announcing a few weeks ago that it will make them available for purchase starting with the beginning of October.

HTC Radar, a device we had the chance to play with at the IFA 2011 show in Berlin, is set to become available today, although it is still listed as available for pre-order at the retailer, and expected to ship in seven days.

Users interested in the mobile phone will be able to acquire it from the retailer here, for free on monthly deals with various wireless carriers in the country, starting at £23.50 per month (around $36 / 27 Euros).

It sports a 3.8-inch SLCD screen, a fast 1Ghz application processor, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with video recording capabilities, and 8GB of internal memory.

The mobile phone also packs WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as 3G support, built-in GPS receiver, Audio Booster, and a VGA camera on the front.

As for the HTC TITAN, also spotted at the IFA trade fair, it is listed as available for pre-order for free with monthly plans that start a little higher, at £31.00 per month (about $48 / 36 Euros).

The larger and more expensive HTC TITAN is expected to start shipping to users starting with the 7th day of October, the online retailer notes on its website.

The spec list for this device shows a 1.5GHz application processor, complemented by a large 4.7-inch SLCD screen, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with HD video recording capabilities.

It also sports 16GB of internal memory, a front camera for video calling, G-sensor, GPS receiver, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1, Dual microphones, and the usual set of sensors.
