Nokia and Microsoft kicked off the rollout of the Windows Phone 7.8 earlier this year. However, not all devices powered by an older version of Windows Phone have received the update and some people are still waiting to upgrade their phones.

fonearena reports that HTC Radar is finally receiving the promised Windows Phone 7.8 in India. Although the update is pushed in stages, it shouldn’t take too long for all HTC Radar owners in India to get it.

The bad news is that HTC Radar won’t get all the new features that Nokia devices receive after applying the Windows Phone 7.8.

Still, the update brings the new Start Screen with resizable tiles and improves the lock screen experience. The number of available accent colors has been increased to 20.

Last but not least, some “quality improvements” have been included as well, but the Bluetooth file transfer feature has been left out. Keep in mind that the update is available for download via Microsoft Zune desktop software.
