On September 1st, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation announced the release of two new handsets, the HTC Radar and HTC TITAN, both of which run under Microsoft's Windows Phone Mango operating system, and both expected to arrive on shelves in the United States soon.

Wireless carrier AT&T already announced plans to bring the HTC TITAN smartphone to its offering, and it seems that T-Mobile is gearing up to make a similar move with the HTC Radar.

Magenta's smartphone was already spotted into the wild, and it seems that it has also received all of the necessary approvals from the Federal Communications Commission, which means that it might be released in the near future.

As previously reported, the new smartphone is expected to arrive on the US market with support for T-Mobile's HSPA+ network, thus the HTC Radar 4G name it will sport when released.

In early September, HTC unveiled the new mobile phone at the IFA 2011 show in Berlin without the 4G part, but with appealing features for what should become an affordable handset.

The HTC Radar 4G is expected to arrive on shelves at T-Mobile with a large 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen display, and with a fast 1GHz application processor inside.

The mobile phone will also include a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with video recording capabilities, and complemented by a font-facing camera for video calling.

HTC Radar 4G also includes 8 GB of internal memory, along with WiFi and Bluetooth, built-in GPS receiver, and support for the Netflix video streaming service. It will also include all of the usual set of sensors packed in the latest smartphones on the market today.

Details on the possible release date of HTC Radar 4G at Magenta have not been unveiled until now, yet they might all become available in the near future, so keep an eye on this space for more on the matter.
