Videotron confirmed a few weeks ago that the HTC Radar 4G will be available for purchase in “early Spring,” but the carrier did not reveal the exact release date of the smartphone.

However, it appears that the HTC Radar 4G is now listed on Videotron's “Coming Soon” page, which means the arrival of the device is just a matter of days.

No word on the price tag yet, but it should be priced close to what the other two Canadian carriers are selling it at.

In this regard, we should mention that SaskTel is offering the HTC Radar 4G for $369.99, whereas WIND Mobile sells the smartphone for $399.

Apparently this will be the first Windows Phone device offered by Videotron, but the regional carrier will the last to introduce it in Canada, as WIND Mobile are already selling the device.

However, this should not matter too much as all three carriers have different targets. According to HTC, “ergonomic and easy to use, the HTC Radar 4G is a dream come true. It's based on the Windows Phone 7 operating system, so you can personalize your home screen in ways you never thought possible and communicate with friends in a flash.”

The rest of the phone's specs are similar to all second-gen Windows Phone devices, so expect this one to be equipped with a 1 GHz single core Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon processor, an Adreno 205 GPU, 8GB of internal memory and 512 MB of RAM.

Just like the majority of WP7 smartphone, the HTC Radar 4G does not come with a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Still, the phone sports dual cameras: 5-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and HD (720p) video recording, as well as VGA front-facing camera for video calls. Obviously, it will come with HSPA+ and Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, as well as Stero FM radio and GPS with A-GPS support (Bing Maps).
