Wireless carrier T-Mobile USA has just made available for purchase a new smartphone on its airwaves, none other than the HTC Radar 4G handset which runs under Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system.

The handset was made official several weeks ago, and T-Mobile confirmed earlier this month that it will be adding it to its offering.

Moreover, the company announced that it will be released in stores on November 2nd at $99 with the signing of a two-year contract (around 70 Euros).

However, those who would like to purchase the new device before it hits brick and mortar stores will find it available on the company's website here, with the same price tag attached to it, after a $50 mail-in rebate card.

As one of the first devices in the world to run under Microsoft's Mango OS flavor, the new device packs appealing features, along with support for various applications and services.

“The Windows Phone 7.5 operating system is designed to bring together everything you care about most - easier and faster,” T-Mobile explains.

“With the HTC Radar 4G, you can stay in touch with friends, work contacts, and social networks on the fly; easily capture life’s moments with a 5 megapixel camera; and share in a flash on America’s Largest 4G Network,” the wireless carrier notes.

The handset packs a fast 1GHz application processor, along with a 3.8-inch screen, and a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with video recording capabilities, complemented by a front-facing camera for video calling.

In addition to offering support for the wireless carrier's 4G network, the handset also packs 8GB of internal memory, along with access to SkyDrive, for 25GB of free cloud storage.

Moreover, the handset will provide users with fast Internet browsing courtesy of IE9, as well as with access to various social networking sites out there.
