Today, HTC officially unveiled sales figures for May 2013, posting an impressive 48 percent increase when compared to April, and almost a 100 percent growth since March.

“HTC Corporation, a global leader in mobile innovation and design, today announced unaudited consolidated revenue for May 2013 of NT$29.0bn [$0.97bn / 0.74bn Euro], and total unaudited consolidated revenue from January to May 2013 is NT$91.4bn [$3.06bn / 2.33bn Euro),” the company said.

According to UnwiredView, the increased market performance that HTC has registered in the timeframe is mainly due to the launch of HTC One in more markets around the world.

Furthermore, should the growth continue, HTC might be able to top the Q2 guidance and reach NT$80 billion ($2.68bn / €2.04bn) in revenue for the timeframe.

The company is expected to launch a nice range of new devices before the end of the year, and we might finally see it regain its foothold on the market, after a series of tough quarters.
