The HTC PPC-6800 Titan handset has high chances of being delayed for release until October, this year. Sprint initially announced this mobile phone for the middle of June, but is now considering of moving it towards the end of the year.

All release dates on the HTC 6800 have been revealed as simply estimates, but Spring is actually struggling to comply with them and offer this new smartphone to their users at the promised date. For this reason, they are doing their best in order to start shipping the Titan phone later this month.

HTC 6800 will be the first mobile device which runs on Windows Mobile 6 and works within the CDMA network in United States. Other specifications on this device show that it is a Qualcomm MSM 7500 which runs on a 400MHz processor with 256 MB ROM and 64MB RAM. All these performances make this PDA-phone turn into a real miniatural computer that will provide its user access to a wide range of possibilities.

The 2.8 inch display proves to be quite impressive, with its touch screen function. Moreover, HTC 6800 comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera which might not be capable of competing with high performance cameras, but it will sure be capable of providing images of good quality.

Moreover, connectivity is available through Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi network. The internal memory space has not been specified yet, but the smartphone also comes with a microSD slot, which will compensate if any surprises should appear with a larger data storage space.

The smartphone also comes with a slide that reveals a slightly rubbery soft touch finish. We don't know yet which the exact sizes of this mobile phone are, but it looks well proportioned and easy to use. The fact that Sprint is making efforts to start shipping the HTC comes as great news, as we'll have the chance to find out for ourselves pretty soon.
