Wireless carrier AT&T already has in store for its users a number of no less than three devices powered by Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7 operating system, but it seems that more of them should become available on its airwaves in the near future.

Not only would the wireless carrier plan on addition to its offering the previously spotted Asus E600, but it is also rumored to be on its way to release its own flavor of HTC HD7, the high-end Windows Phone 7 device that went on sale at T-Mobile only a few weeks ago.

Dubbed HTC PD29130, the mobile phone has just passed through FCC's hallways, while packing Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system inside.

According to the FCC filing, the handset would certainly arrive on shelves with support for AT&T's 3G network, which suggests that it should soon join the HTC Surround, Samsung Focus, and LG Quantum on the wireless carrier's network.

While there is no official info on what would this handset turn out to be in the end, some suggest that it has great chances of arriving as AT&T's HTC HD7 flavour.

Another possibility is that this device would be the HTC 7 Pro that was announced as being on its way to Sprint for sometime next year. Basically, the HTC PD29130 would be the GSM version of the 7 Pro. The handset already received the necessary FCC approvals, but there is still no word on when it might land on the market.

For what it's worth, it might be released sometime towards the end of the first quarter of the next year, most probably in time to sport the upcoming Windows Phone 7 update that Microsoft already confirmed as being on its way to handsets sometime in early 2011 (most probably in January).

One way or the other, it should not be too long before specific info on this device starts to emerge, so keep an eye on this space for more.
