Starting today, Verizon’s customers will be able to grab yet another HTC smartphone on the network of their wireless carrier, in the form of HTC One remix, which was made official only yesterday.

The handset, long rumored to arrive at this mobile phone operator, is nothing else than Big Red’s own flavor of the HTC One mini 2, which went official only last month.

The handset was released with the same hardware specs that said smaller flavor of HTC One M8 included, and sports a price tag that fits great with its capabilities.

Thus, Verizon’s customers can purchase the new mobile phone from the wireless carrier's website at only $49.99 (€37) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

However, those who would rather grab the phone without committing to a contract will be able to do so too, while having to get $449.99 (€334) out of their pockets.

The HTC One remix arrives at Verizon with a 4.5-inch super LCD2 touchscreen that can deliver an HD resolution and which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.

Moreover, the smartphone features 1.5GB of RAM, which should provide its users with more than decent performance capabilities at all times.

“Conveniently compact, the HTC One remix fits perfectly in your hand, pocket or bag. Featuring a 4.5-inch HD display, 13-megapixel rear camera and an all-metal body,” Verizon notes.

“Self-portraits stand out thanks to a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and Beautification effects. Add live content to the Home screen and play music with front-facing speakers.”

HTC One remix was also released with 16GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot that can support up to 128GB of additional storage space.

On the back, the mobile phone sports a 13-megapixel camera with LED Flash, which can record videos in full HD resolution, and which is paired with a 5MP front camera that also sports 1080p video capabilities, and which should prove a great option for those who are into taking selfies while on the go.

The new device was also released with support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network, as well as with the usual 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS receiver capabilities packed inside. It is powered by a 2100mAh battery that can deliver up to 15.2 hours of talk time, or up to 16.6 days of standby time.

HTC One remix runs under the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, while also featuring the Sense 6 user interface loaded on top.
