Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has been long rumored to plan the release of a smaller flavor of the HTC One smartphone, the same as Samsung did with the Galaxy S4 mini, and some more confirmation on the matter has emerged.

According to a recent article on Bloomberg, people familiar with the matter have confirmed that the device is set to make an official appearance this summer, though no specific release date has been provided. The phone, supposedly called HTC One mini, should arrive with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, while also expected to feature a less powerful processor inside, along with other lowered specs, as some of the previous reports also suggested.

The handset was previously spotted online as the HTC M4, and was said to include the same UltraPixel camera as the HTC One does, yet no official confirmation on the matter has been provided.
