Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has been long rumored to plan the launch of a mini flavor of its HTC One smartphone, and some more info on the matter is now available.

According to a recent article on DigiTimes, the Android phone is set to arrive on shelves before the end of the third quarter of the year, sources from Taiwan-based supply chain makers unveiled.

Expected to feature a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, the HTC One mini should arrive on shelves as a direct competitor of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 mini, which has already arrived on shelves in some markets around the world.
