Australians looking to purchase a new smartphone on the network of Vodafone can now pre-order the HTC One mini via the wireless carrier’s website.

The operator is listing this device at $0 upfront on a two-year contract agreement on the $50 (€35) Plan, with a free Beats by Dr. Dre Pill Speaker (valued at $259 / €180) included in the package (as part of a limited offer ending on October 8).

No specific info on the smartphone’s arrival on shelves at the wireless carrier has been provided as of now, though we might see it put up for sale starting with October 9 or soon after.

HTC One mini comes to the market with a design similar to that of HTC One, but in a smaller form factor.

The phone features a 4.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution, and is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor.

Furthermore, it arrives on shelves with 2GB of RAM and with 16GB of internal memory, while being powered by a 1800mAh battery. It can offer up to 13 hours of talk time on a single charge (or up to 28 days of standby time).

HTC One mini also features an UltraPixel camera on the back, capable of full HD video recording, as well as a 1.6MP front camera for making video calls.

The smartphone also comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity packed inside, USB port, and GPS receiver. Furthermore, it offers support for Vodafone’s 4G LTE network.

“The HTC One mini has a compact 4.3” display and a slimmer build. It boasts the award-winning features and design of its larger counterpart,” Vodafone notes on its website.

“It also gives you access to the new super-fast Vodafone 4G network on one of our 4G plans and when you are in our selected major metro areas of Sydney and Perth, with some coverage in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Wollongong.”
