Soon, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation should bring to the market a new Android-based device, the largest it has ever released, namely the HTC One max.

The device hasn’t been officially confirmed as of now, but it has already received the necessary approvals from the Global Certification Forum, and it should be announced soon.

In fact, recent reports on the matter suggested that it could be announced on October 15 or October 17, which would be roughly 10 days from now.

The upcoming device is expected to hit shelves with a 5.9-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution, as well as a 373 PPI pixel density.

The phone is also said to sport a Snapdragon 800 processor inside, as well as a fingerprint sensor on the back. The GCF filing also shows support for tri-band LTE at 800, 1800, and 2600 MHz, as slashgear notes.
