HTC One max, the 5.9-inch member of HTC’s One family of smartphones, has been officially announced on the market in China, and pricing for the device has also been unveiled.

The mobile phone will become available for purchase in the country via all three large carriers there, namely China Unicom, China Telecom, and China Mobile, it seems.

Users interested in buying the smartphone will find it available at RMB 5,488 ($899 / €666), despite the fact that there is more than one version launched, GSMInsider reports.

HTC is also said to be offering it as part of an accessory bundle that includes the HTC Mini feature phone and a Bluetooth headset, priced at RMB 5,998 ($982 / €727).

To be more precise, China Telecom will receive a dual-SIM version of the device, namely the HTC One max 809d, while China Mobile will launch a TD-LTE-enabled variant.

The international flavor of the mobile phone is expected to feature a price tag of RMB 5,088 ($833 / €617), a bit lower than the local Chinese version.

HTC One max arrives on the market with a 5.9-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) touchscreen display, as well as with a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor packed inside.

The handset also features 2GB of RAM, as well as 16 GB / 32 GB internal memory, and also a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

HTC One max was launched with an UltraPixel camera with LED Flash on the back, as well as with a front camera for making video calls.

The mobile phone also features a 3300mAh battery inside, and runs under Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system, with HTC’s own Sense 5.5 UI loaded on top.

At the same time, the new HTC smartphone arrives on the market with a fingerprint sensor placed on the back, beneath its camera.
