Starting today, Verizon’s customers can purchase a new high-end Android-based smartphone, namely the HTC One max, which has been released with a price tag of $299.99 (€224) attached to it, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

The mobile phone has landed on the wireless carrier’s website with a price tag of $599.99 for those who would like to purchase it on month-to-month deals.

HTC One max is the largest Android-based device in HTC’s lineup at the moment, featuring a 5.9-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a full HD 1080p resolution.

The device also comes with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor inside, paired with 2GB of RAM. Furthermore, it features 32GB of internal memory, as well as a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

“The HTC One max raises the bar when it comes to premium smartphones. Its large, 5.9–inch full HD screen features brilliant colors and can be viewed at many angles,” Verizon notes on its website.

“Biometric security lets you use your fingerprint to unlock the Android smartphone. Take impressive photos and stream custom content to your home screen.”

The smartphone is powered by 3300mAh Lithium-Ion battery that can deliver up to 25.5 hours of talk time, and runs under Google’s Android 4.3 Jelly Bean platform, with Sense 5.5 loaded on top.

HTC has also packed the new mobile phone with the usual set of connectivity capabilities, including 4G LTE support, as well as with a 4MP UltraPixel camera on the back, and front camera for video calling.

Moreover, the company has included a series of exclusive features and applications to the device, such as HTC Zoe, HTC BoomSound, HTC BlinkFeed, and more.

“With HTC Zoe, press the rear–facing camera’s shutter and the HTC One max captures up to 20 photos and a 3–second video, which you can easily share with friends and family through the fast Verizon 4G LTE network,” Verizon explains.
