Yesterday, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has provided some more info on its plans for the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system upgrade for some of its latest devices out there, and announced that HTC One max should receive it sometime in March.

Moreover, the company has confirmed that HTC One mini is set to get a taste of the update in April, provided that current plans pan out.

As part of this update, users will receive the latest version of the Android OS out there (4.4.2 KitKat), along with the Sense 5.5 UI, HTC has confirmed on Reddit, as PhoneArena notes.

At the moment, HTC is pushing the Android 4.4.2 update to the owners of HTC One devices out there, in various markets around the world, including the United States. However, only Sprint and Verizon-branded handsets have received it until now.
