Last month, Sprint confirmed that it would add the LG G2, Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and Galaxy S4 mini, as well as the HTC One max to its portfolio of Android smartphones. The carrier stated that all the devices would go on sale beginning November 8, but the HTC One max missed the launch for unknown reasons.

However, those who are looking to purchase HTC's phablet will be pleased to know that Sprint is likely to sell the One max starting November 15.

Engagdet reports that the smartphone is now available for pre-order at Best Buy for as low as $250 (€185) with a new 2-year agreement. The retailer also mentions that the HTC One max will arrive in stock on November 15, which is why we think it will be available at Sprint on the same date.

But there's more to it, as Sprint has already published the official changelog for the first software update for HTC One max, which is slated for a November 15 release. Once again, November 15 seems to be the date when the One max might be launched at Sprint.

The HTC One max will ship with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, which means that the phone's software is only one generation behind the Nexus 5. Still, we expect HTC to offer an Android 4.4. KitKat upgrade for the One max sometime in the coming months.

Hardware-wise, the smartphone comes equipped with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

The device has a fingerprint sensor and a huge 5.9-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution and features Corning Gorilla Glass 3 coating for extra protection.

Those who do not wish to purchase Sprint's version of HTC One max will have to wait a bit longer for AT&T and Verizon to add the smartphone to their portfolios.
