Yesterday was an important day for HTC and its latest Android-based devices included in the One series: One X and One S became available for purchase in the UK from various major carriers.

We already mentioned their availability at Vodafone, Three and O2, and it’s high time we had a look at the offerings that Orange and T-Mobile came up with for them as well.

HTC One X, the new flagship Android phone from the Taiwanese vendor, comes with a quad-core application processor inside and with a large 4.65-inch touchscreen display.

The device made it to Orange UK’s network free on monthly plans starting at £41 ($65 / 50 Euro) with the signing of a 24-month contract agreement. Users interested in purchasing it from T-Mobile will pay the same price.

People in the UK will benefit from the same experience regardless of the operator they choose, since the two carriers are part of the same company, Everything Everywhere, and users can roam from one network to another freely.

HTC One X runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and can deliver a great music experience courtesy of Beats Audio technology that HTC packed it with.

The features list of this device also includes an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, said to be the most advanced camera on a phone today, 32GB of internal memory, support for WiFi and HSPA connectivity, and the like.

One S, the second new Android device from HTC, was made available at Orange and T-Mobile for free as well, on the more affordable £36 ($57 / 44 Euro) per month contracts.

Packing a slim body and a dual-core application processor, this smartphone also arrives on shelves with a 4.3” high-resolution touchscreen display, as well as with an 8-megapixel camera on the back, while running under the same Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
