Rumors on the HTC One X successor, known as One X+, have already heat up the Internet, but we still don't have full details on the phone's specs sheet and availability.

Today, the folks over at Stuff revealed more info on the upcoming One X+ device, including the new codename of the smartphone.

According to a trusted source close to the matter, the One X+ is currently known as HTC Endeavour C2, which we already heard about several months ago.

It appears that the HTC One X sequel will be fully compatible with the original's range of accessories, which might suggest that it will have a similar design.

In addition, the cited source confirms the device will be equipped with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. It will come with a much better battery and UrBeats earphones in the sales package.

Software-wise, the phone is said to be pre-loaded with HTC Watch 2 and ClearVoice for improved voice call. Rumor has it that the smartphone will hit shelves in the UK on October 1.
