Canadian carrier Rogers kicked off pre-orders for Nokia Lumia 900 last week and promised customers who take advantage of the offer additional features for free.

Today, the carrier announced the upcoming availability of the HTC One X in Canada. In fact, the smartphone is now up for pre-order for only $169.99 CAD with a new three-year agreement.

Just like Nokia Lumia 900, customers who pre-purchase the HTC One X can choose one additional feature for free, depending on the voice and data package they opt for.

Those who opt for the $62.35 CAD monthly plan that nets them 200 minutes, unlimited Evenings & Weekdays (6pm - 7pm) and 1 GB of mobile data, will also get 1GB Unlimited Messaging & MY10 option for free.

Six additional features are available for customers who pre-order the HTC One X and commit to a three-year agreement.

In addition, those who pre-order or reserve the HTC One X by April 20 will automatically enter a grand prize draw for a chance to win a VIP trip for 2 to Toronto for the 2012 Universal Music MMVA After Party.

Besides the 2 tickets for the party, the prize pack comprises $2500 spending money, as well as travel and hotel accommodations. The contest is set to close on April 30.

Although the HTC One X is currently priced at $169.99 CAD with a new three-year agreement, this promotional offer will end on April 30.

Unfortunately, Rogers does not mention when it will start shipping the smartphone, but more details will probably emerge within the next few weeks.

The smartphone will be delivered with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on board and HTC Sense UI on top. The device is equipped with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM.
