Today, mobile phone carrier Vodafone UK has made available for purchase the One X quad-core smartphone from HTC.

Users interested in the acquisition of this mobile phone will be able to get the white version from the operator’s website for free on pay monthly plans starting at £41 ($65 / 50 Euros) per month (a grey flavor is available at the same price).

On top of that, the carrier throws in a free pair of urBeats headphones, though only for the first 10,000 purchases.

The handset runs under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and can deliver great performance capabilities courtesy of its powerful 1.5GHz application processor.

Moreover, the new device provides a great camera experience, although it features a resolution of only 8 megapixels.

“The HTC One X comes with HTC's most advanced camera technology yet. That means you can take fantastic photos in any conditions,” Vodafone notes.

“Capture shots instantly - and make sure you get the ones you want by taking up to 20 in rapid succession. Snap great quality photos in poor light - thanks to the state-of-the-art F2.0 lens and auto-adjusting flash. And you can even take photos on your HTC One X while you're shooting HD video.”

The specs list of this smartphone also includes a 4.65-inch touchscreen display that provides a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, as well as 32GB of internal memory.

HTC One X was packed with a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front for video calling, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS receiver, and support for HSDPA 850/900/1900/2100 networks.

It also features great music capabilities, courtesy of the Beats Audio technology that HTC included in it. Furthermore, the aforementioned urBeats headphones are available for free for the first 10,000 purchases.

“Choose the HTC One X and you'll also get 10 tracks a month free for three months from Vodafone Music. Just select Vodafone Music when prompted in the extras list,” the wireless carrier notes.
