It looks like HTC has started to deliver another maintenance update for the One X, which is meant to correct lots of issues.

This would be the second update for the HTC One X since its launch in early April. The first important update that fixed lots of bugs, software version 1.28.401.9 was pushed OTA (over the air) about two weeks ago.

Although there was no official changelog for that update, the folks over at XDA Developers were able to put together some of the changes noticed.

The result was a pretty huge list of improvements and bug fixes:

- New HBOOT 0.94; - New RADIO 1.26.401.2; - Fixed HTC Sense Calendar widget crashing; - Fixed HTC Calendar double dates bug; - Fixed HTC Sense crashing; - Fixed Screen glitches; - Improved Tegra 3 gaming; - Improved HTC Gallery playback; - Improved ICS detection, dots removed in YouTube app; - Improved Beats audio, no more skipping; - Improved non-Sense widget scrolling - Improved HTC Teeter gaming; - Improved overall speed.

The new software update 1.29.401.7 that has just been rolled out in Europe is now available for download OTA (over the air). The update is pushed in stages, so it might take a while until it reaches all HTC One X owners living in Europe.

So far, it looks like the update is only available for unlocked HTC One X units, which means carriers will announce the availability of this maintenance update a bit later.

Software update 1.29.401.7 has 35MB in size and is said to fix color temperature issues and lots of other bugs that have yet to be detailed.

In addition, HTC Hotline claims that Wi-Fi problems have also been fixed. Just like the previous update, this one comes without an official changelog, so there might be other changes included as well.
