No word on pricing options, but it’s expected to go free on select plans

HTC has just unveiled its new Android flagship smartphone and confirmed it will go on sale next month at no less than 185 carriers and many more leading retailers.

HTC One is likely to be available in the UK from all major carriers, beginning March, but Three is one of the first to confirm it.

Customers in the UK will be able to pre-order the HTC One from Three UK starting February 22, the carrier announced.

HTC One will ship with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, but the smartphone is likely to receive an Android 4.2.2 upgrade soon after launch. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
