The software is available in various countries in Asia and Europe

Earlier today, HTC UK officially confirmed the availability of the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system upgrade for the owners of HTC One in the country, and it seems that more users in Europe can now grab the software.

The update is said to have started to roll out to devices in France, Germany, Spain, Turkey, and the Netherlands too, after being made available it Taiwan, Russia, China, Nordic Countries, and Malaysia.

Furthermore, users in Asian markets such as Singapore and Sri Lanka should also be getting the new firmware for their devices, AndroidOS reports.

The new software release lands on smartphones with lockscreen widgets, improvements to the launcher bar, new quick settings panel in notification shade, enhancements to the Gallery app, Daydream, new Zoe file format, and more.

The update should arrive on HTC One smartphones in even more countries soon, so keep an eye on this space for additional details.
