Owners of an HTC One SV smartphone on the network of Australian wireless carrier Vodafone can now download and install a new Android platform version on their devices, namely the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

The new software release arrives on handsets not only with said OS flavor, but also with a Sense 4+ update, an enhanced UI with better performance for the camera app, and improvements for the Gallery app, with a new landing page and an Event/Map view.

There are also a series of power management enhancements that users will be able to take advantage of, it seems.

The update will be delivered over-the-air, and users will receive a notification on their devices when it becomes available for download. They should make sure that the battery inside the smartphone is fully charged before proceeding. Additional info on the update is available on this page at Vodafone.
