HTC One S, the Android-based smartphone that HTC brought to the market in June last year, is now available for purchase in India at only INR 21,799 ($375 / €285), down INR 3,100 ($53 / €40) from the price tag it has had since October last year.

At the moment, the handset can be seen on this page on Flipkart’s website with the aforementioned price tag attached to it.

As AndroidOS notes, the smartphone should see some more traction on the market following the price cut, although its specifications remain unchanged.

The phone sports a 4.3-inch AMOLED qHD display, a 1.7GHz dual-core processor inside, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, front camera for video calling, a 1650mAh battery inside, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean loaded on top.
