Although we knew that the HTC One S would be launched at Telstra on July 17, the carrier did not unveil any details on the phone’s pricing options.

However, the folks over at Ausdroid have been tipped on Telstra’s offer for HTC One S, so customers who wish to grab this ICS-powered device should prepare for the following prices: $40 Every Day Plan: $15/month, $60 Every Day Plan: $6/month, $80 Every Day Plan: $0 upfront, $100 Every Day Plan: $0 upfront.

Furthermore, those who do not want to commit to a long-term contract will be able to purchase the HTC One S for no less than $648 AUD outright.

Among the first smartphones in the HTC One family, the One S was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, back in February.

HTC One S is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system integrated with HTC Sense 4.0 user interface.

More importantly, the smartphone embeds a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260A Snapdragon (Krait) processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, which is complemented by an Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB of RAM. There’s also 16GB of internal memory inside, but the device lacks microSD card slot for memory expansion.

There’s also an 8-megapixel main camera featuring HTC’s ImageSense technology that allows users to capture photos while recording videos. In addition, the photo snapper features autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

Those who choose the HTC One S should know the smartphone also packs a secondary VGA front-facing camera for self-portraits and video calls.

Telstra’s HTC One S sports a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

Other highlights of the handset include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, HSDPA and HSUPA technology, as well as microUSB (MHL) and built-in GPS.
