One of the handsets that mobile phone carrier Verizon Wireless has been long rumored to plan on bringing to the market is the HTC One Remix, and it appears that we’re finally nearing its launch at the operator.

According to leaked info available courtesy of evleaks.at, the HTC One Remix, which is nothing else than this carrier’s version of HTC One mini 2 (the smaller HTC One M8), will be launched on Thursday, July 24.

Considering the fact that Verizon is usually announcing new devices on Thursdays, the new report might indeed pan out, though we still have our reserves.

One thing that you should keep in mind is the fact that, even if the HTC One Remix does launch on July 24, it might still take a while before it becomes available for purchase.

Most probably, this smartphone will bring all of the features and capabilities that HTC One mini 2 was announced with, including a 4.5-inch 720p screen, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, and 1GB of RAM.

Moreover, the handset should feature 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a 2100mAh battery. HTC One mini 2 also features a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5MP front one, and Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat OS loaded on top.
