Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is gearing up for the delivery of a new software update for its HTC One users in Europe, so as to provide them with a series of camera enhancements, new reports on the matter suggest.

The update is set to arrive on devices as firmware version 1.29.401.13, but will leave the smartphone running under Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, just as before.

However, Pocket-lint notes that the update will provide some appealing enhancements to users, including better sound capture with Zoe, as well as reduced noise in slow motion movie capture.

Furthermore, the handset will feature better color reproduction and dynamic range in certain conditions. A fix to display correct ISO in EXIF information when the ISO settings are manually changed by the user has also been included in the update.

The new software should start arriving on devices before the end of this week, so stay tuned for more on this.
