Last month, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation made official a smaller flavor of its latest flagship Android-based device, namely the HTC One Mini, and the device is now available for reservations in the UK.

Users who would like to grab the new handset as soon as it becomes available for purchase in the country can pre-order it now through online retailers Clove UK and Unlocked Mobiles, where it is priced at £379.99 ($576 / €434) and £364.98 ($553 / €417), respectively.

Both retailers are listing the smartphone as available SIM-free and unlocked, yet the price tag might not be the final one yet, UnwiredView notes. HTC One Mini could start shipping to users on August 12, it seems.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the device was announced with a 4.3-inch (720 x 1280 pixels) Super LCD2 capacitive touchscreen, while being powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Krait 300, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor.

The mobile phone also packs 1GB of RAM inside, along with 16GB of internal memory, and a 4MP UltraPixel photo snapper on the back, with LED Flash and support for full HD video recording.

Furthermore, the smartphone features a 1.6MP front camera for making video calls, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities, NFC, GPS receiver, and a battery capable of delivering up to 20 hours 40 minutes of talk time.

HTC One Mini measures 132 x 63.2 x 9.3 mm and weighs 122 grams, while packing support for GSM: 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900, 3G/HSPA: 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz and 4G/LTE: 800 /1800 / 2600 frequencies.

Running under Google’s Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the smartphone also comes with HTC’s Sense UI loaded on top, designed to make it easy for users to stay on top of news, messages, and social network updates, while also providing them with fast Internet connectivity.
