HTC will soon be coming to MWC 2015 in Barcelona at the beginning of March to unveil its latest flagship which the rumor mill has dubbed Hima.

Well, according to the latest hear-say around the web, the company will actually market the device as the HTC One M9, although some time ago we heard the Taiwanese device maker was looking to change the naming system for its flagship lineup.

Anyhow, in an earlier piece we told you that the HTC One M9 was going to get a Windows 10 version that would exclusively be sold in the US.

However, don’t hold your breath on seeing the handset get unveiled at MWC 2015 next month, as the Windows 10 model will probably be rolled out at a later date.

HTC One M9 will also be offered in gold

Well, today we once again bring you a piece of news related to the HTC One M9. It appears the device maker is looking to satisfy the needs of customers who like their handsets a little more sparkly than the norm.

French website Nowhereelse has just leaked a bunch of photographs showing the purported handset in its gold variant.

The new images show the same design that was previously leaked in the rumor mill. Once again our attention is drawn to the 20MP sensor (or at least one that’s better than the infamous HTC UltraPixel camera).

There is no secondary camera on the back visible, so unless this is still an early prototype of the device, we can conclude the handset won’t come with a dual camera setup like the One M8.

The images also reveal a little bit about the insides of the device, as you can see in the gallery below.

Anyway, we’re not far from seeing the One M9 (and probably the M9 Plus) make a debut. The flagship is expected to arrive with a 5-inch QHD display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, Snapdragon 810, 3GB of RAM, stereo BoomSound speakers and Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI on top.

The M9 Plus model has been said to also arrive with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the form of a home button at the bottom of the device.
