The handset sports a very thin bezel, 4K-capable camera on the back

Back in March, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has officially released its latest flagship Android-based handset, in the form of HTC One (M8), yet enthusiast are already dreaming of what the next high-end device from the company will have to offer.

There’s no telling when the successor of this smartphone might arrive on the market, but chances are that users would have to wait for roughly one year for that.

In the meantime, however, they too can start dreaming of what the next flagship device in HTC’s lineup will have to offer, and a concept phone to get them started is now available online.

Coming from Rishi Ramesh (via gadgetsconcept), the handset is called HTC One (M9), but it is nothing more than the product of a designer’s imagination for the time being, which means that the actual product, should it ever be launched, will be completely different.

The concept phone features a 5.2-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD resolution, which would bring it in line with other very high-end handsets on the market at the moment (or set to arrive on shelves soon).

On the back, the mobile phone sports a 13-megapixel camera with support for 4K video recording, also a feature that can be found in today’s flagship devices, and which might very well arrive inside the actual HTC One (M9) too.

However, it will certainly be interesting to see whether HTC will indeed decide to leave the UltraPixel technology aside after packing it inside both HTC One (M7) and HTC One (M8).

Additionally, the concept comes with a new, improved sound system, one that allows it to deliver 30 percent more audio output when compared to the current device.

The specs list of this concept device is also said to include 3GB of RAM, along with 16GB/32GB of internal memory. No mention of a microSD memory card slot has been made, but one could be included in it as well.

The phone also sports a 7MP front-facing camera, as well as a rounded metallic back case with polycarbonate lines.

Although no info on the phone’s CPU has been delivered, we might assume that it sports a Snapdragon 805 unit, which is paired with Adreno 400 graphics. A 3000mAh battery powers the beast, supposedly offering long usage times.

The concept phone sports very narrow bezels, while also keeping the capacitive buttons of current models. A future version of Android is supposedly loaded on it, along with an upgraded Sense UI.

All in all, the HTC One (M9) certainly looks great, although it is only a concept device for the time being. Don’t hold your breath for it to land on shelves this way, but do let us know in comments what you would like it to include.
