Earlier this week, Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has officially unveiled to the world its new Android-based flagship smartphone, in the form of HTC One M8, which is already available for purchase in various markets out there.

The device, announced as the successor of last year’s HTC One phone, was introduced in three color versions, namely Gunmetal Gray, Amber Gold, and Glacial Silver, but it appears that more variants are being prepared.

The guys over at HTC Source have stumbled upon an advertisement for the smartphone that mentions two new, unannounced colors for it, namely Stealth Black and Stealth Red.

This is not the first time that the Red iteration of the device is spotted online, as HTC has actually teased it before even making the phone official, which suggests that it is indeed real and set to make an appearance sooner rather than later.

As the aforementioned news site notes, HTC was expected to reveal the two color flavors of HTC One M8 earlier this week. A Blue version of the device might also be introduced, the same as it happened with last year’s flagship.

For the time being, however, there’s no info available on when the new models might be unveiled, or on when they would become available for purchase.

One thing that appears to be certain, however, is the fact HTC One M8 will continue to provide users with the very same hardware specs and capabilities regardless of its outer coat.

This includes the 5-inch full HD touchscreen display, as well as the 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor that powers it (there’s a 2.5GHz CPU inside the Asian version of the device).

HTC One M8 was also unveiled with 2GB of RAM inside, 32GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.

The mobile phone arrives on the market with dual cameras on the back, as well as with a 5-megapixel front camera, which should ensure a great experience when making video calls.

In addition to the usual set of connectivity capabilities, the HTC One M8 features a 2600mAh battery inside, which should ensure increased usage time, as well as Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

HTC also loaded its own set of personalization features on top of the smartphone, in the form of Sense 6.0, which sports an updated BlinkFeed, better HTC Zoe capabilities, and the like (HTC has already promised to bring the UI to last year’s devices).
