T-Mobile customers who own the HTC One M8 will be pleased to know the carrier has just confirmed the long-awaited Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for this particular smartphone is now being pushed OTA (over the air).

Earlier today, lots of HTC One M8 owners reported they have successfully captured the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update, but T-Mobile did not confirm the availability of the upgrade until recently.

According to the pretty short changelog, software version 2.22.531.5 should upgrade all HTC One M8 smartphones purchased through T-Mobile’s official retail channels to Android 4.4.3 KitKat operating system.

As mentioned earlier, the update is pushed OTA (over the air) in stages, so not all HTC One M8 devices might get it at the same time. Make sure your phone’s battery is at least 50% charged and that your Wi-Fi connection is stable.

The T-Mobile version of HTC One M8 won’t be the last to receive Android 4.4.3 KitKat, as Verizon’s variant has been confirmed to get the upgrade as well.

Android 4.4.3 KitKat brings some user experience improvements, but aside from that ,there are no mentions of any new features in the official changelog. Have you captured the update yet? What other changes did you notice?
