Following the official unveiling of the new HTC One (M8), Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation also made available the first promo video for the device, which can be seen embedded above for your viewing pleasure.

The clip is only 30 seconds long and does not offer too many details on the handset’s specs, but it does provide us with the possibility to have a closer look at some of the most important features it will land on the market with.

One of them is the back camera, or, better said, the dual cameras packed on its back, which should deliver a new level of performance when it comes to capturing photos and videos, at least when compared to last year’s handset.

The new HTC One (M8) will land on shelves with the same aluminum design as its predecessor, but with a larger, 5-inch screen and a more powerful processor inside, namely a Snapdragon 801 chipset.

It will also feature a 5MP camera on the front, as well as the latest version of Google’s Android operating system, with HTC’s own Sense 6.0 UI loaded on top.

The smartphone has already been put up for sale in the United States, Canada, and the UK, and it should reach more markets in the coming weeks, HTC has announced.
